Policy and Advocacy

Using what we're learning locally to shape the agenda nationally and internationally

youngballymun is unique in its experience of integrating and embedding evidence-based prevention and early intervention practice into mainstream services on a community-wide scale.  Our approaches provide cost-effective models for the reconfiguration of resources to achieve considerable improvements in outcomes for children and young people, particularly those challenged by social disadvantage and risk of poverty. Our policy and advocacy work is rooted in our local practice experience, the evidence from our research and international evidence on what works.

Our proactive policy and advocacy work programme spans the organisation of conferences and discussion forums to promote and share prevention and early intervention expertise, policy submissions, membership of networks and alliances and contributing to national and international conferences.
